This case has attracted wide spread media attention the family have featured on Sky news, BBC, ITV and all national newspapers.

The police have referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) and an inquest will take place in 2022. The case involves the investigation done by the police after she had reported her stalker, which ultimately resulted in murder.
