This was a large-scale National Crime Agency (NCA) surveillance operation. Class A drugs were being imported into London and distributed across the UK.
Vehicles were followed from the distribution centre in London and stopped at various locations with Kilos of cocaine. The police raided addresses across the UK. The defendant from London was arrested as his fingerprints were on 42 Kilos of pure cocaine in London. The defence produced fingerprint experts who challenged the assumptions made by the prosecution. The defendant stood trial before a jury and was Acquitted.
