This was the distressing case, of the baby that was thrown out of the 6th Floor of an apartment block. A very difficult case which was widely reported across the media.

In an unusual step we were allowed to make a press appeal for witnesses. The defence deployed multiple psychiatric reports from leading psychiatric experts. The prosecution was persuaded to drop the Murder charge and accept a plea to Manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility.
