R v T – Conspiracy to Murder – Between Two Gangs

After an ongoing feud, between two gangs, one group had approached the defendant’s family address with firearms and discharged the same.

A big disorder took place, one of the males who had attended with many others had been fatally wounded and died at the scene from stab wounds. All five siblings were charged with murder. Defence blood spatter experts challenged the assumption that the defendant was the person who stabbed the male to death. Due to the lack of blood on and under his footwear. The defendant was Acquitted of murder, all other defendants were convicted.
