The individual and others had been part of a religious group, part of which had members who promoted an ideology and forwarded material which was considered to be Terrorist Publications, a number of persons were arrested. Some were later charged and convicted.

All matters against the defendant were discontinued as he had withdrawn from the group gradually and disagreed with their views which was clear from messages.
